In 2022 we launched our new Greenwire program aiming to promote some of the practices we care most about, including Sustainability, Quality and Warranty, and our Code of Ethics.
We believe that the quality of our products and services as well as the solid experience we gained over the years, together make our winning formula to face the national and international markets in which we operate.
We adopted an Integrated Quality and Safety Management System (SGI) in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001 and UNI EN ISO 22000 standards for the food sector, and we assessed our ethical performances obtaining the SMETA 4 PILLARS certification. We also joined the Ecovadis portal, where we measure our progress in terms of sustainable purchasing.
These are some of the facts on which we are building our sustainable commitment, inspired by our corporate policies which are based on the following pillars: Working Conditions, Environmental Management and Sustainable Purchasing, Corporate Integrity, Health and Safety.

SEDEX: we are part of Sedex, a non-profit organization aiming to grow and disseminate ethics within the global supply chains. We have also been successfully assessed for the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA).

ECOVADIS: we are part of Ecovadis, one of the major international platforms for environmental sustainability rating. Their ratings evaluate corporations from all industries and sectors on a global scale, based on the assessment of critical areas for the achievement of sustainable objectives relating to environment, workplace, human rights, ethics, and sustainable purchasing. We were officially awarded a silver badge from EcoVadis.

OUR WIREHOODS AND CAPS ARE 100% RECYCLABLE
Our wirehoods are made of tinplate and steel. These materials can be 100% recycled and reused infinitely to create new products each time.
BEST PRACTICE
We are in the process of introducing new initiatives to reduce our energy consumption and CO2 emissions. We are regularly updating our facilities with new generation technology. All our packaging is sustainable, which means we reuse plastic, and we completely recycle cardboard.
Part of our commitment is also on making the most out of solar energy through solar panels, using heat exchangers and reducing gas consumption.

All our waste is tracked and managed through a MUD form, the “Modello di Dichiarazione Unica”.
We are also constantly monitoring our water, gas and electrical consumptions.
